In Memoriam: Sandy Clauss

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this email. Our dear friend, Sandy Clauss passed away this past Wednesday. Funeral services are being handled by Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle. The service will be at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church in Kyle on Monday August 29, 2022. Full details and obituary are on the Harrell Funeral Home website.

Sandy was a Precinct Chairman in the old Pct 420 for years and helped countless candidates get elected with the boundless energy of a former athletic coach. He brought amazing educational sessions to the Welcome Center with his programs from his American’s Christian Foundation. He made the Founding Fathers come alive with his presentations and made the Constitution more understandable than any of us who heard him ever imagined that it could be. He also recently brought to the Welcome Center his profound programs of the shocking deterioration of our public schools caused by the infiltration of CRT and SEL .

Sandy will be missed by so many. We pray for the comfort of his family.

Bob Parks, Chair
Hays County Republican Party
