Join Team Abbott and Texas Victory for an event in Hays County Friday, June 3rd and Saturday, June 4th as we kick-off the 2022 campaign cycle with a weekend of action!
From Chair Bob Parks:
The Abbott Campaign is hosting a Statewide event on June 3rd – 5th. Hays County is one of the target counties and the Welcome Center is going to be a hub for the event. The Abbott Campaign is sending notice to their volunteer list.
The campaign has asked all of the groups in Hays County to notify members. The Welcome Center will be used as a hub for phone banking and block walking. Governor Abbott will attend via video and his senior campaign staff as well as representatives from the RNC will attend. The Welcome Center will be a busy place on Saturday 06/04 as we have this event in the morning and Convention training for the SD21 and SD25 delegates and alternates that afternoon from 3:00p to 5:00p.
We are extremely fortunate to have the Abbott Campaign target Hays County this early in the election process. We surely want to take advantage of this winning effort as we ramp up for the November election. Please be reminded that about 50% of the voters in Hays are Unknown because they have never voted in a primary AND we expect many Democrats to crossover to our side AND we have to work hard on the 40% of Republican voters who do not get out to actually vote. We have to reach all of those voters and secure their votes to win. The numbers DO NOT LIE!!
Thanks,
Bob Parks, Hays County Republican Party Chairman
